General Shop Laborer - Logan, UT

Position Summary:

We have an immediate need for a full-time General Shop Laborer at our Logan, UT facility. As a Shop Laborer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the maintenance and operation of our rental fleet assets and shop facilities.

Some of the work that you will do:

• Safely load and unload rental equipment from trucks, ensuring proper handling and organization.

• Assist technicians in inspecting rental units to ensure they are in good working condition and comply with safety requirements.

• Support technicians in performing repair maintenance on rental assets as needed.

• Assist in conducting preventative maintenance tasks on rental assets under the guidance of experienced technicians.

• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the shop area.

• Help technicians ensure shop equipment is in good working order by performing basic maintenance tasks.

• Assist with inventory management tasks, including verifying items received against purchase orders and packing lists.

• Learn to read and understand technical drawings and manuals under the guidance of experienced technicians.

• Basic understanding of safety protocols and willingness to adhere to safety guidelines.

• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.

• Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy equipment and perform manual labor.

• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Valid unexpired driver's license.

Here are the skills that will set you apart:

• Previous experience in a laborer or shop assistant role.

• Welding certification preferred.

• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn new skills.
