Moore's Electrical & Mechanical is seeking a qualified individual to Lead/Coach/Mentor our Area Service Managers for the Commercial Service Division. This position is vital for the day to day operations of the overall Service Department. The primary focus will be in leading a team of 8 managers (currently), to provide support, mentorship, coaching, and leadership in an effort to help them be better leaders in their role while maintaining a high concentration on safety and teamwork.
This leader should be prepared to work in a fast-paced team environment while also delivering an outstanding reputation with our customers and service technicians. They will be passionate about caring for their direct reports with a mindset that exemplifies Moore's Mission, which is to Build, Serve, and Impact their partners and their communities.
Manage 8 Direct Reports (Service Mangers) along with helping provide support to 105 field technicians.
Support and mentor the ASMs in their leadership development.
Responsible for coaching safety and sustaining the department's overall safety goals.
Takes part in all Accident investigation meetings.
Fosters great working relationships with all managers along with their teams, towards achieving departmental financial goals.
Supports ASMs with visiting customers on site to build relationships and issue resolution.
Oversees all hiring for technicians along with facilitating initial training of all new partners.
Perform annual and semi-annual reviews of ASMs.
Identifies training needs for ASMs to foster increased knowledge and development.
Accountable for all corrective actions for ASMs and their technicians.
Responsible for maintaining the overall organization and function of the ASM TEAM.
Leadership with multiple direct reports expected.
Proven track record of management and customer service skills.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to prioritize tasks and multi-task when needed.
Willing to assist and collaborate with others when issues arise.
Proficient computer skills including Microsoft products, as well as efficient typing skills.
Willingness to travel up to 60-70 percent of the week.
