• General City Marion Work Location Type On-site State IL Employment Type Full-time (30 hrs/week)/FULLTIME Description & Requirements Position Description & Requirements Position Summary Saline Valley Diagnostic Radiology (SVDR) has served the Southern Illinois Community for over 40 years providing diagnostic and light interventional services to 10 Illinois hospitals, 1 Indiana hospital as well as many affiliated clinics and express care centers. SVDR is seeking a Full-Time Onsite General Radiologist to support our growing practice in beautiful Marion, Illinois.
  
  Ideally located in the south, with easy access to Springfield, St Louis, Indianapolis, Nashville, and Louisville The ideal candidate must be capable of reading a broad spectrum of diagnostic imaging, including light interventional procedures and maintain a desire to work in a collaborative environment with local referring physicians. POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Schedule: M-F 7am-5pm CST Onsite 100% General This candidate must be capable of reading various diagnostic modalities Ability to perform light procedures including Paracentesis, Thoracentesis Superficial Biopsies, Lumbar Puncture, Myelograms, Arthrograms, Thyroid Biopsies DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCe Board certified or Board Eligible by American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology Ability to obtain an Indiana, Illinois, and Iowa license Ability to engage with and support the needs of the referring physicians Ability to maintain a culture that provides quality outcomes Benefits Competitive compensation Great work/life balance Fantastic Leadership-Physician led and governed practice Generous Commencement Bonus CME reimbursement Partnership track position Full benefits including malpractice insurance, health, dental, vision, 401K LOCAL PRACTICE AND COMMUNITY OVERVIEW SVDR operates with an internal 24/7 Results Communication Center support team (CORE Center of Radiology Excellence) to coordinate care and clinical contact.
  
  This clinical team is an extension of our Radiologists, which helps in reducing day-to-day administrative minutiae.
