General Summary: This program coordinator position manages the General Motors Automotive Service Educational Program (GM ASEP) by fulfilling the program standards set forthy by CCAC and General Motors both internally and externally.

Must meet requirements for GM ASEP Program.
Job Duties:
1.Arrange dealership sponsorships and student enrollment for the Fall semester.
2.Assist in recruiting students and dealers to participate in the GM ASEP Program. This includes promoting program at High Schools, CTC's and other automotive events
3.Prepare lab exercises on a continually changing basis according to the manufacturer's current training requirements.
4.Ensure that the GM ASEP Program maintains nationally recognized NATEF Certification.
5.Repair damage or wear to vehicles, components and equipment as a result of student use.
6.Coordinate the donation of vehicles, tools and equipment from the manufacturer to CCAC for use in the GM ASEP program in accordance with General Motors guidelines. Coordinate removal of vehicles for donation to other entities or for disposal.
7.Organize, inventory, and evaluate obsolescence of all General Motors specialized tools.
8.Work with the local Raytheon training center instructor to provide additional training for students on newly released vehicles and/or systems.
9.Ensure that all General Motors written training requirements are met for each student.
Complete web based training and attend required hands-on training and certification classes as per General Motors ASEP guidelines.
Maintain current relationship with all General Motors dealerships and affiliates.
Arrange placement of GM ASEP students at dealership sites; visit and evaluate the cooperative work experience.
Perform other related duties as required.
