ALL ABOUT GENERAL MERCHANDISE

Experts of operations, process and efficiency who enable a consistent experience for our guests by ensuring product is set, in-stock, accurately priced and signed on the sales floor. The General Merchandise Sales team leads inbound, outbound, replenishment, inventory accuracy, presentation, pricing, and promotional signing processes for all GM areas of the store. Experts enable efficient delivery to our guests by owning pick, pack, and ship fulfillment work.

  • Knowledge of guest service fundamentals and experience supporting a guest first culture across the store

  • Experience in retail business fundamentals: department sales trends, inventory management, and process efficiency and improvement

Job Summary: Facilities Presentation Production Assistant is responsible for providing excellent guest experience at Sprint Center events by assisting planning, operation and maintenance of audio, visual systems and lighting systems. This position is an operational and technical position that will assist in event-based production. Essential Duties: * Assist in the set-up and operation of professional audio, visual and lighting equipment per event. Assist with video editing, animation and graphic creation. * Operate audio-visual equipment and other production equipment. * Assist in the maintenance of audio, visual, and lighting equipment and conduct minor repairs and adjustments or report need for repairs. * Assist in determining service requirements for events. * Other tasks as assigned. Required Qualifications (Job Knowledge, Skills, and Education): * A minimum education level of: High School Diploma or its equivalency (Bachelor of Arts/Sciences Degree Preferred in art, design, animation, or video production). * Must be able to handle multiple tasks and projects. * Specific experience as it relates to video/scoreboard production in a 16,000+ seat sports and entertainment facility; organizing and directing event production requirements for sporting and entertainment arena events preferred. * Knowledge and previous experience working with Daktronics, Sony 3-CCD Cameras, Ross Carbonite Black, Ross Xpression, Evertz DreamCatcher, Adobe CC. * Requires a flexible work schedule, which will include some evenings, weekends and holidays. Preferred Qualifications (if applicable): * Knowledge and previous experience working with NBA, NHL/AHL, NCAA (hockey and basketball), and experience work for concert and family show promoters preferred.
