Position Details:

• Title: General Manufacturing Laborer

• Lamination

• Schedule: 7:00 am

• 3:30 pm, M-F. This position participates in our Summer Hours Program. Hours are 5:00am

• 3:30pm M-Th through August 30th.

• Location: Myerstown, PA (17067)

Position Overview:

The General Manufacturing Laborer will assemble, process, inspect mouthguards manufactured in the lamination department.

Essential Functions:

Daily duties include, but are not limited to:

• Produce quality products consistent with the manufacturing, inspection, and testing procedures.

• Sealing, labeling, and packaging of various containers.

• Complete specific tasks as assigned or as outlined in the department production batch sheets.

• Report all suspected non-conformances to production manager.

• Log all completed product assignments in department production log.

• Maintain a clean working environment.

Qualifications:

• Must have good attention to detail to ensure product quality is maintained throughout processing.

• Must have mathematical and administrative skills i.e., processing of paperwork, maintaining files, etc.

• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

• Ability to work effectively in a diverse environment and across the Company.

• Ability to meet deadlines and be well organized.

Education/Certifications:

• High School Diploma or completion of GED equivalent.

Safety:

• Complies with all safety regulations; always maintains a safe work environment.

• Adheres to always wearing the proper PPE/Safety equipment.

• Understands and complies with all written safety, health, and environmental procedures.

• Attends all required scheduled Health, Safety and Environmental training sessions.

• Participates in required Health, Safety and Environmental initiatives and programs.

• Perform required administrative functions related to Health, Safety and Environmental functions such as completing forms, checklists, and log sheets.

• Physical Demands: Employee is required to walk; sit; use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop; bend; kneel and climb. The employee must regularly lift and move up to 15 pounds, frequently lift/move up to 25 - 50 pounds.

• Work Environment: This job primarily operates in a manufacturing environment. There is a moderate level of noise, heat, dust, dirt, and fumes. Employee frequently works near moving mechanical equipment and chemicals and will be exposed to varying temperatures.
