General Manager

We are seeking an entrepreneurial and results oriented General Manager to be responsible for the management of our Florida business, located in Lake Worth. TNR Staffing was established in 1988 and provides Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy to patients throughout the Southeast Florida and Chicagoland areas within the home health setting. We are an industry leader in the markets we serve due to our focused commitment of providing the best possible customer service to our clients while providing the highest level of compassionate and ethical care to improve the quality of life for the patients we treat.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with an entrepreneurial team, to manage a business experiencing significant growth and to strategically plan for continued growth and expansion in the rapidly expanding medical sector of physical therapy and rehabilitation.

The General Manager will be a leader who can motivate a team, is highly organized, possesses successful marketing/selling skills and is an excellent communicator. Additional duties and responsibilities include:

  • Oversee and manage the business on a day-to-day basis including the staffing and customer service functions.

  • In conjunction with our Recruiting Manager and Clinical Director, develop and execute strategies to recruit, train and retain therapists.

  • Develop and execute strategies to target new customers to generate new business. In addition, develop and maintain long term relationships with current customers.

  • Budget and achieve P&L targets

  • Ensure the business meets all regulatory requirements

  • Think outside of the box to strategically assess if there are other services we can provide to expand our business

We require the following qualifications:

  • A person who aligns with our vision, mission and values. Our key values include honesty, integrity, compassion and excellence.

  • At least a 4-year degree. An MBA or a degree in physical, occupational or speech therapy is a plus.

  • Possess a minimum of 5 years experience in a managerial role in a medical staffing, home health or rehabilitative environment.

  • Knowledge of Medicare guidelines and regulations.

  • Someone who can hit the ground running

A medical certificte from a federally registered medical examiner must be obtained to be a U-Haul CMV driver. Education/Training: High School Diploma or equivalent Work Environment: The work involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions, e.g., working around moving parts or machines, fumes or irritant chemicals. May be required to use protective clothing, or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves or shields. Physical Demands: The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods of standing, walking, recurring bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching or similar activities, and lifting a minimum of 50 lbs assisted or unassisted.
