Job Summary:

As the General Manager, you lead through your team to drive profitable sales in your store. You lead and provide direction to your entire store team. You are the link between Old Navy's brand vision and how it comes to life in your store. You ensure your store achieves all key metrics and is meeting or exceeding profitability goals. As the head merchant, you lead, follow up, coach and train on business analysis and merchandising decisions. You proactively create the store business plan to drive profitable sales through forecasting and scheduling. You hold your team accountable to deliver results through the Sales and Service Leader program. By leading the overall skill building and development of your store team in line with company initiatives, you create a positive talent development culture. As the General Manager, you personally coach and develop your direct leadership team and other key talent in your store. You create an inclusive culture of learning application and high performance through talent acquisition, and developing, coaching and holding your team accountable. You are the primary change leader, subject matter expert and communicator for your store team about all brand, market and territory initiatives.

As an Old Navy leader, your first priority is to contribute to the success of your market and lead your team in how they contribute to the success of the store. This means that you not only deliver in your role as the General Manager, but you also model leadership behaviors and deliver as a manager on duty. As the Manager on Duty, you deliver results during your assigned time, drive key performance indicators and brand loyalty by leading through your team. You make decisions and collaborate with other members of your store leadership team to prioritize work based on business needs and company direction.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age

  • College degree or equivalent work experience preferred

  • 3-5 years of retail management experience preferred

  • Ability to effectively communicate with customers and employees

  • Ability to maneuver around sales floor, stock room, works with and around cleaning chemicals, and lift/carry up to 50 lbs.

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule (including travel) to meet the needs of the business, including evenings, overnight and weekend shifts

The Banking Center Manager (BCM) will be responsible for the achievement of specified banking center and banking center staff performance goals, on-going achievement, profitability, deposit and loan growth, and fee income. The BCM will build, develop and lead a team that is focused on providing clients with an exceptional client experience by presenting financial solutions to meet the clients' needs. By focusing on the client, doing the right thing, and striving to make a difference, the team will build long-lasting client relationships. The BCM is accountable for driving new client acquisition, retention and growth of client relationships, as well as growing non-interest revenue. In additional, the BCM is responsible for building strong internal partnerships with Commercial, Wealth & Brokerage, Mortgage, Treasury Management and Consumer Lending to meet client needs and contribute to the growth of the Market in which they serve. The BCM will create a team-oriented environment and will foster associate satisfaction through coaching, career development and support. The BCM will build and maintain strong community alliances and integrate into the communities they serve. The BCM may act as a mentor for onboarding new associates within their specified market. The BCM is responsible for adherence to all compliance and regulatory procedures including, but not limited to: BSA, Check 21, CIP, CRA, HMDA, Reg B, Reg D, Reg E, Reg CC, Truth in Savings, Privacy Compliance and the Patriot Act. Essential Functions/Responsibilities: Outside Sales Effort & Collaboration (35%) Develop strong business relationships with partners focusing on deepening client relationships and cross-selling. Maximize community visibility through active participation in community groups (Chambers of Commerce, BNI, Rotary, Non-profit and charitable organizations, organized community events, and other networking opportunities.) Integrate well into the communities they serve New Account Sales (20%) Actively manage the onboarding of new clients. Ensure client follow up calls are conducted in the proper time frame. Manage overall BC Sales & Service Environment (20%) Manage the day-to-day activities that align with The First Financial Bank Experience (FFB Experience). Maintain a banking center environment and commitment to exceptional client experience to foster client loyalty and relationship development Ensure that banking center performance goals are met or exceeded. Overall responsibility for managing banking center success which includes daily operations, successful audit scores, sales execution.
