Pay range: $60,000 - $65,000 annually

We are seeking driven and ambitious General Managers to deliver the best possible customer service to increase sales, profitability and franchise success. As a General Manager with TWO MEN AND A TRUCK, you will oversee the hiring, training and development of franchise employees, execute marketing and sales plans, control costs and consistently exceed customer expectations. You will also manage the daily supervision of all management and office staff at each franchise location you are responsible for.

Responsibilities

As a General Manager with TWO MEN AND A TRUCK, you will focus on continual improvement of key areas of the business as you manage the budget, oversee vendor agreements and contract negotiations to maintain strong working relationship and identify areas for cost reductions. You will help develop and execute marketing plans and collaborate to develop and execute sales plans. Additional responsibilities of the General Manager include:

• Working with the Operations Manager to ensure moves are profitable and that customers receive exceptional service

• Establishing staffing requirements, conducting interviews and training new employees

• Holding employees accountable for great work performance and adherence to franchise and system standards and policies

• Overseeing all workers compensation and unemployment claims

• Ensuring that your franchise is compliance with all DOT regulations and FMCSA guidelines

• Recommending the appropriate training and development programs for staff offered through STICK MEN UNIVERSITY to further company knowledge

• Participating in community, industry or other relevant associations for networking purposes

• Driving communication upward through monthly reports on all functional areas for executive review

• Completing other duties as assigned by the Franchisee

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or college degree preferred

• Minimum 3 years management, customer service and/or moving experience required; experience working at or owning a small business preferred

• Demonstrated ability to lead by consistent example to motivate, develop and direct people

• Working knowledge of basic business aspects such as sales, finance, human resources, training, marketing and payroll

• Competency with business financials, including P&L reports

• Strong decision making and problem solving abilities

• Ability to promote and sell franchise services

• Ability to work a flexible schedule (over 40 hours per week) and provide on-call coverage

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds

• Valid driver's license and clean DMV records

• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen

• Sales experience a plus
