Tippi Toes Dance Company is not a typical brick & mortar dance studio; we bring dance into schools. Students love to go to dance class with their school friends and feel comfortable in the familiar space. Tippi Toes has been sharing joy with children since 1999. What started out as a dream of founder Sarah Nuse, turned into a reality. What started out as one small location in Norman, OK, has turned into 40 locations across the country. Our vision is to instill confidence, positivity, and joy into the lives of children.

Manager/Dance Teacher, Choreographer, Movement Instructor, Dance Teaching Artists are just a few different ways to categorize what we at Tippi Toes Coral Springs call a Dance Manager/Instructor!

Tippi Toes Coral Springs is looking for an Operations Manager/instructor to lead the development of the corporate location territory in Coral springs, FL. This involves selling our program within the local community, maximizing enrollment, hiring and developing dance instructors, incrementally growing the business, and maintaining great relationships within each school. We are looking for someone with a warm personality, professional communication skills, who finds great pleasure in working with youth, versatile and flexible teaching artists who are open to a dance curriculum that already has set choreography provided.

There is no choreography creation involved in this position.

Responsibilities for Operations Manager at Tippi Toes-Coral Springs:

• Oversees the complete business operations for the territory
• Leads scouting,introduction, followup, and securing new school accounts
• Manages new account tracking system to ensure pipeline of new accounts is active
• Ensures the correct instructor/class size ratio as the business grows
• Builds and maintains key relationships with Daycare/Preschool/School Directors and teachers within community
• Develops and maintains a recruiting/hiring pipeline of dance instructors
• Personally nboards each new instructor, and thoroughness/quality of process
• Regularly ttends classes and assesses dance instructor performance. Provides regular feedback and ensures quality of classes is maximized
• Utilizes all company tools: playbooks, processes, procedures to maximize business operations and consistency of results
• Leverages and maximizes revenue drivers (parties/camps/merchandise sales) to grow the business

Tippi Toes Dance manager/Instructors always have wonderful, professional communication skills as well as a good sense of personal and professional boundaries. A successful Tippi Toes Dance Instructor is culturally sensitive when working with diverse populations. We do love when someone has experience working with youth!

Qualifications To Be a Dance Manager/Instructors at Tippi Toes Coral Springs:

• 2+ years managing a team of 4-6 people (bonus)
• Sales experience a bonus but not required
• Proficient in Microsoft office, Google sheets/docs/ slides

● Performance background (dance, theatre, cheer, character work) is a plus but not required

● Experience working with children is a plus

● Must have a current driver’s license and access to a car

Job Type: Part-time

Salary:$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 20 per week
