Stagwell Tech is searching for an experienced and enthusiastic General Manager to lead the teams across North America. As General Manager, you will work closely with the Chief Operating Officer to support the business in achieving commercial and customer targets in order to continue the growth of this fast paced, dynamic technology Group.

We need an experienced, passionate and enthusiastic General Manager with a strong technical background. You will be comfortable with frequent travel throughout North America, in addition to travels in Europe. You will be innovative and challenge the status quo, thinking without borders and embedding this culture within your team. As General Manager for North America, you will be a brand ambassador, confident in influencing strategic and technical direction whilst delivering significant growth and profitability.

The General Manager will bring with them:

  • A proven track record in financial controls and management, customer experience design and execution

  • Strong abilities in team construction and leadership development

  • Will be equipped with exceptional partnership, communication and presentation skills

  • Able, and enjoy, operating at strategic, tactical and operational levels

  • Very well rounded senior leadership with experience in customer operations, Information Technologies (enterprise wide workforce management, ordering and billing system introductions among others)

  • Technical Project Management and/or Sr. Technologist experience highly preferred

  • Cross enterprise business process engineering

  • Compelling abilities at customer onboarding in smooth and cost effective manners


  • Calculate, negotiate and manage specific departmental budgets in conjunction with the finance team

  • Grow external engagement to increase the awareness of the brand and generate best practice initiatives which will support growth and retention

  • Review and influence the business learning and development strategy ensuring staff are continually developed and quality standards are delivered

  • Track, report and manage commissions and incentive schemes in line with budget

  • Conduct operational due diligence on acquisitions/mergers

  • Ensure an effective 24/7 operational model is in place with appropriate escalation

  • Identify and implement initiatives to increase gross margin, reduce operational cost and contribute towards net margin

  • Own and manage new client and supplier implementation programs, liaising with key stakeholders

  • Managing an operations team at a senior and strategic level

  • Client and stakeholder management at a senior level


  • 7-10 years in general management or equivalent position

  • 2-3 years IT delivery (project manager/senior technologist)

  • Excellent client management/negotiation skills an absolute must

  • Strong attention to detail

  • 1-2 years experience working with/managing a P&L

  • Revenue forecasting, managing budgets and delivering into operational costs

  • Implementing of large and complex clients and driving efficiencies to deliver profit margins

  • Performance Management

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills

  • Experience of a fast paced, environment, working to tight deadlines

  • Industry specific experience, ideally in delivering interpreting services to a wide range of public and private sector clients
