Pay Range: $125,000-$145,000 annually

Position Overview:

As a General Manager of EMS Transport at Ambulnz by DocGo, you will lead the operational oversight of our EMS Transport division. This role demands a high-performing leader adept at managing complex operations that include revenue generation, profit and loss accountability, client relationship management, and strategic business development. The ideal candidate is proactive, emotionally intelligent, and possesses a natural talent for forging strong, trust-based relationships both within the company and externally in the marketplace.

Responsibilities:

  • Assume responsibility for the market's financial performance, including revenue, EBITDA, and cash flow management.

  • Uphold exceptional service standards for all internal and external stakeholders, ensuring superior customer satisfaction.

  • Foster a workplace environment that emphasizes professionalism, integrity, and teamwork.

  • Direct oversight of Operations Directors and other key management personnel.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for operational team queries and concerns.

  • Deeply understand the service area, current operations, and contracted facilities to enhance service delivery.

  • Function as the crucial link between field operations and the Communication Center.

  • Guide and develop staff through mentoring, performance evaluations, and targeted disciplinary actions aimed at fostering a team-oriented culture with positive outcomes.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local, regional, and national EMS regulations.

  • Collaborate closely with the Communication Center and Fleet Department to optimize daily operations.

  • Analyze operational data and reports to identify trends and develop actionable strategies for improvement.

  • Ensure strict adherence to all employment laws and actively support the company's diversity and equal opportunity goals.

  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource for all field employees and undertake additional duties as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, or appropriate field of study preferred, or equivalent experience

  • Minimum of four years in general supervisory experience, with a proven track record of successfully managing large teams

  • Extensive experience in managing a multi-million-dollar operations budget, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation and financial efficiency

  • Minimum of six years of experience in emergency medical operations leadership, with comprehensive client management expertise in the EMS industry

  • Strong leadership skills demonstrated through effective team management and the ability to foster professional development and high performance among team members

  • Driving record in compliance with company policy regarding insurability

  • Current valid EMT or Paramedic Certification, as well as all other licenses and certifications required by field personnel
