    The General Manager is responsible for running a profitable restaurant and for making sure the restaurant meets McDonald's critical customer standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. These standards are high, so this is an extra-important role! The General Manager works with his/her leader to set the restaurant's goals and builds a plan to achieve those goals.

    Other key responsibilities include: Leading a team of Department Managers with specific responsibilities in the restaurant Helping the Department Managers in setting their own goals, following up on their progress, and providing mentoring and direction to improve their Departments and the restaurant overall. Hiring, training, and developing Department and Shift Managers to make sure that the restaurant has the right team to lead into the future.

The General Manager must be metric-driven and</p><p>solution-oriented and will push their team to grow the community and engage its members. Importantly, the General Manager will work in partnership with the MCC leadership and program staff collaboratively to develop and expand the center's offerings and actualize the key financial objectives of the agency.</p><p>Job Description:</p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>We're seeking an experienced General Manager to join our team. As our new General Manager you will:</p><ul><li><p>Be the face of Health, Fitness and Wellbeing for Manny Cantor Center and the community</p></li><li><p>Drive all aspects of the membership business - member experience, acquisition, retention, usage, and engagement.</p></li><li><p>Prioritize innovation and new program development to enhance the member</p></li></ul><p>experience, opening new revenue streams and supporting member growth.</p><ul><li><p>Generate new ideas and create a culture of collaboration and manifestation.</p></li><li><p>Ensure that all Exos team members embrace the technology at the site and use it efficiently.</p></li><li><p>Work collectively with the MCC Marketing Lead to drive the marketing efforts for membership and fitness. Inform marketing strategy based on competitive analysis and industry knowledge.</p></li><li><p>Execute on work plans, action plans, and all tasks in a timely manner.</p></li><li><p>Communicate clearly and effectively with Exos and MCC staff.</p></li><li><p>Capture and share all information on current membership models, fitness industry trends, and MCC specific best practices.</p></li><li><p>Support P/L influence and control. Develop budget, contingency, and strategic plans, and effectively project manage their implementation.</p></li><li><p>Implement the new Exos Member Experience Initiative and ensure that every member is onboarded correctly.</p></li><li><p>Support the hiring, supervising, mentoring, and evaluation of department managers.</p></li><li><p>Understand and be committed to the mission and vision of the Center. Be knowledgeable about the center and all its programs. Identify opportunities for cross-selling services throughout the Center.</p></li><li><p>Monitor progress and planning monthly versus goals and objectives.</p></li><li><p>Exemplify experience with identifying and using actionable data to make decisions and track results.</p></li><li><p>Support staff in fostering an environment of equity and inclusion for fitness members.Other duties as needed</p></li></ul><p>Compensation: $75,000/Year - $85,000/Year. Pay is dependent on experience and qualifications.</p><p>Qualifications:</p><p>Required Qualifications:</p><ul><li><p>Minimum of 7 years of General Manager Experience within the fitness industry, including overseeing Membership Sales.</p></li><li><p>Effective staff management and coaching skills.</p></li><li><p>Strong service background and a focus on creating an exceptional Member Experience.</p></li><li><p>Experience in building corporate partnerships, sponsorships, and memberships.</p></li><li><p>Proven track record of launching new initiatives and exceeding revenue goals.</p></li><li><p>Bachelor's Degree in fitness or business-related fields.</p></li></ul><p>Preferred Qualifications:</p><ul><li><p>Demonstrated success in increasing programming participation in both for profit and not for profit environments.</p></li><li><p>Successful track record managing sales, personal/small group training, operations, group programming and customer service.</p></li><li><p>Experience working at the Jewish Community Center.</p></li><li><p>Excellent communication skills - both written and oral, including leadership, interpersonal and supervisory skills.</p></li><li><p>Ability to anticipate, manage, and solve operational issues on a regular, and daily, basis.</p></li><li><p>Highly skilled in Google Docs, Excel, as well as proven ability to work with different CRM systems (i.e., CSI, Spectrum), Quattro/MyCenter preferred.</p></li></ul><p>To prevent the infection and spread of COVID-19, and as an integral part of its public health and safety measures, EXOS requires that all successful applicants shall be required to show proof of full vaccination by an FDA-approved COVID-19 vaccine before beginning employment, unless an exemption from this policy has been granted as an accommodation or otherwise.
