MAU is hiring a General Manager in Greenville, SC. As a General Manager, you will ensure sitewide operations are performed at agreed-upon service levels and drive continual improvement in safety, logistics, operations, and internal support processes. This is a 1st shift, 6:30 AM - 4:00 PM opportunity. Flexibility outside of standard hours is required.

Required Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree
7 - 10+ years of experience in management in a manufacturing environment
Leading teams, hazard identification, spoken and written communications, and presentation skills

Essential Functions
Customer Service
Serve as the primary point of contact with the customer's senior management team
Ensure that MAU complies with site-specific policies and regulations
Ensure that consistent communications are maintained between MAU and customer staff
Ensure that department-specific metrics are meeting the target
Support and maintain an engaged safety culture
Safety Focus
Support and foster a safety culture that is engaged and focused on achieving "Zero Incidents"
Support the MAU Safety Team so that the following can be accomplished: CIP of safety processes and training documents; live safety by identifying hazards, correcting harmful conditions, and improving MAU's safety culture, particularly in your division and team
Oversee safety training such as OSHA Annual Required Safety Training, and update the Training Matrix
Conduct and train 4 Step Problem-Solving process
Conduct Safety GEMBAs with team/employees
Identify hazards in the workplace
Policy/Program Administration
Conflict resolution and intervention
Talent Management
Management of approximately 150 associates (approximately ten full-time regular employees)
Coordinate training and development plans for the leadership team
In association with the MAU Recruiting Team - screen, interview, and provide hiring recommendations for leadership, training, and administrative support positions
Provide coaching and, if necessary, administer disciplinary actions to the leadership team
Maintain consistent administration of MAU policies to mitigate legal exposure
Compile, authorize, and submit payroll for the full-time regular team
Communication Proficiency
Ensure that consistent communications are maintained between MAU and customer staff
Ensure that personnel demand requirements are clearly communicated to the MAU Branch Recruiting Team
Customer/Client Focus
Ensure that MAU complies with site-specific policies and regulations
Meet with customers regularly for support, budget, and site-specific performance review
Crisis Management
Remain on-call 24/7 for any emergency, including both personnel injury and property damage
Safety case management support
Coordinate training and development plans for the leadership team
Project Management
Interface between customer leadership and MAU leadership
Provide resources for both short and long-term special projects
Evaluate project performance for process improvement recommendations
Attend specific departmental meetings as required
Track and report PO billing
Work Environment or Working Conditions
Working conditions will typically be manufacturing or warehouse settings that may include process manufacturing equipment and heavy power industrial vehicles
Environments may vary from non-air conditioned (hot/cold) environments to working on non-climate controlled areas
