Funko is searching for a self-motivated and results-driven General Manager to direct and manage Loungefly's business activities and to develop and implement business strategies and programs. As the General Manager for Loungefly, you will be responsible for managing and allocating budget resources, managing operational costs, coordinating business operations, engaging with licensors, identifying business opportunities, and monitoring financial activities.
The successful candidate for this role will possess excellent communication skills, superior knowledge of general business functions, exceptional budgeting and finance skills, and strong leadership qualities. The General Manager will account for all business activities, support staff development, enhance efficiency, drive sales and improve revenue, maintain relationships with clients, enhance the organization's image, and meet overall growth objectives. This leadership role will oversee all activities within Loungefly's in-house teams, including Sales, Product Development, Creative and Operations.
What You'll Do
Oversee daily operations of the Loungefly business
In collaboration with Licensing, Sales, Creative and Product Development, manage the creation and implementation of a business strategy, structure, operating plan and financial model designed to grow the business
Coordinate the development of key performance goals for in-house functions and direct reports
Ensure the development of tactical programs to pursue Funko and Loungefly's targeted goals and objectives
Ensure overall delivery and quality of the Loungefly's offerings to customers
Engage in key or targeted customer activities
Evaluate and decide upon key investments in equipment, infrastructure, and talent
Communicate strategy and results to Loungefly's employees
Report key results to corporate officers
Engage with Funko's corporate officers in broader organizational strategic planning
Evaluate the business and identify opportunities for consolidating functions into the Funko enterprise to gain leverage and efficiencies
Lead planning and manage execution of consolidation initiatives in efficient manner as required to meet business commitments
What You'll Bring
10 15 years' experience managing an accessory or apparel focused business or relevant experience
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing or related field
Proven ability to develop and maintain financial plans
Understanding of compliance requirements for a public company
Foundational knowledge of different business functions
Strategic thinking, collaboration and strong analytical skills
