Job Description: General Manager

  • Manage and supervise all day-to-day operations.
  • Design strategy and set goals for growth.
  • Maintain budgets and optimize expenses.
  • Set policies and implement processes.
  • Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally.
  • Oversee recruitment and training of new employees.
  • Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance.
  • Direct the employee assessment process.
  • Prepare regular reports for upper management.
  • Ensure staff follows health and safety regulations.
  • Provide solutions to issues (e.g. profit decline, employee conflicts, loss of business to competitors)
  • Review and define control points within the manufacturing processes and implement them using inspection plans and quality specifications. 
  • Work with operators, inspector(s), customers, suppliers, and Process Engineering on questions or issues that arise from general daily activities.
  • Maintain knowledge of factory orders daily status and ensure on-time delivery.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain focus and accuracy while performing highly detailed work.
  • Ability to produce quality work under pressure.
  • Familiarity with FMEA, C&E Matrix, Detail Process and Value Stream Mapping, Root Cause Analysis, and Error Proofing tools
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100A.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, including statistical data analysis and interpretation, as well as the ability to develop, implement, and drive improvement plans and project teams to successful completion.
  • Strong background in the use and understanding of key quality and manufacturing performance metrics.
  • Strong communication skills in English-verbal & written, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Due to ITAR requirements, applicants must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident

Education:

·       BS, Business, Management, or Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.

·       In lieu of above, 6-10 years of technical work experience in electronics manufacturing/engineering or related field.

Experience:

·       Prior experience working within printed circuit board (PCB) or electronics manufacturing environments.

  • 3-5+ years of experience as a Manager or Supervisor
