As a General Manager in Training, you will act in a supporting role to the General Manager while completing our immersive General Manager Training Program (GMTP). You will work with district leadership, support partners, department specialists, and a personal Management Training Mentor to learn how to effectively manage all facets of a Gold's Gym facility. This includes customer satisfaction, effective recruitment and selection, proper training of the staff, personnel issues, sales and membership solicitation, facility cleanliness, while ensuring the club is achieving projected sales goals as well as all other established goals.


  • Successfully complete all tasks and requirements of the General Manager Training Program

  • Sell Gold's Gym memberships, services, and retail products

  • Assist GM with daily, weekly, and monthly GM responsibilities


  • Minimum 1 year of management and leadership experience

  • Business acumen

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Experience managing payroll and budget

  • Strong sales and customer service skills with proven results

  • Computer or internet proficient, including fluency in Microsoft Office

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

JOB DESCRIPTION: Job Description: Primary Objective of Position The Global Training Manager partners with global and area teams to develop and implement training programs that develop the product and solution knowledge as well as skill set necessary to support the commercial strategy. Assess the effectiveness of the training programs and implements the necessary changes to continually improve the quality of training delivered.
