Sodexo Corporate Services is looking for a General Manager/Chef Manager to join Sodexo in the Fairfield County area.
The current food landscape at this account consist of one corporate cafe and catering operations.
The General Manager/Chef Manager will be in charge of the operation in addition to being the lead culinary person at the account.
The General Manager/Chef Manager must be able to manage food costs, labor costs, as well as understand and be able to make business decisions that allow the unit to meet goals. Other duties include menu planning, ordering, inventory, hands-on in the kitchen about 60% of the time, and client and guest interaction.
The General Manager/Chef Manager must have the ability to forecast business and manage accordingly. Catering experience is a must, HAACP knowledge, and building and costing our menus.

Directs all contract management service operations at a single account/unit. Plans and supervises special functions.
Maintains cash control and payroll records. Hires and trains unit personnel. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations.
Manages through managers and is accountable for the contract. Senior-most person assigned to a one client account
Key Duties- Provides team leadership & training- Controls unit financials- Directs daily food operations for quality & safety standards- Supervises day to day activities
C/S: Culinary focus with ADMIN responsibilities. Limited menu, basic program
