Rosewood Miramar Beach is looking for a General Manager to join the Caruso's Team!

Overview

This position requires someone who is highly motivated and possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills. This position is responsible for the supervision of all aspects of the Food and Beverage outlet functions, in accordance with hotel standard operating procedures. Directs, implements and maintains a service and management philosophy which serves as a guide to respective staff.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, service procedures and standards.

  • Ensure that standards are maintained at a superior level on a daily basis and ensure all require training is completed by staff.

  • Maintain complete knowledge of all food menu items, preparation method/time, ingredients, portion sizes, garnishes, presentation and prices.

  • Make forecast and schedule adjustments based upon daily occupancy, arrivals/departures, V.I.P.'s and special events.

  • Partner with the Chef de Cuisine of Caruso's in the creation of new items for the outlet based on guest feedback and sales records, review daily specials and unavailable items. Ensure that staff are aware of such.

  • Constantly monitor and document staff performance in all phases of service and job functions, ensuring that all procedures are carried out to departmental standards; rectify any deficiencies with respective personnel. Handle disciplinary problems with a manager and counsel employees according to hotel progressive discipline standards.

  • Foster and promote a cooperative working climate, maximizing productivity and employee morale.

Qualifications

Experience

  • Minimum three years' experience as a General Manager / Manager with a luxury food and beverage operation.

Education

  • High school diploma required. Diploma/degree in Hospitality/Culinary Management preferred with proven record in delivering operating results in high volume banquet operations in four/five-star hotels.

Essential Job Duties * Forecast goals and objectives for the Center and strive to meet them * Recruit, recognize and retain talented teammates. Create a culture of safety through good housekeeping and PPE usage. * Other duties as assigned Skill/Requirements * HS or GED; Post-secondary education in collision repair preferred * Typically has experience in auto repair industry or managing a team * Must be at least 18 years of age * Must have a valid Driver's License and be eligible for coverage under Caliber's insurance policy (Not an excluded driver) * Satisfactory completion of a criminal background check * Advance understanding and knowledge of the repair process/procedures * Strong analytical and coordination capabilities; capable of effectively prioritizing and multi-tasking. * Highly-effective leadership skills including excellent communication skills and the ability to delegate and empower employees. * Personable, friendly demeanor with a "World Class" customer service approach to internal and external customers * Maintains a well-groomed, professional appearance Physical Requirements / Working Conditions Position is based in a normal shop environment. Occasional physical activity such as reaching below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, squatting and stooping to inspect repairs, and lifting and carrying objects over 50lbs. Exposure to fumes, chemicals, dust, along with high levels of noise. Subject to weather conditions both inside and outside. Required to wear protective equipment when necessary. Occasional sedentary work. Must have visual acuity to determine the accuracy and thoroughness of the work assigned.
