Sodexo Government is seeking a General Manager 3 to support the food operations located in the DC, Maryland, Virginia area. The General Manager is responsible for food quality & customer service in a retail environment. Candidates should be passionate, highly motivated, and enjoy client and customer interaction. The General Manager will provide leadership and supervision to the on-site food service staff and oversee the delivery of our contractual agreement with the client.

We are looking for candidates who will:

• have oversight of day-to-day dining operations;
• ensure that we provide high quality food service;
• implement Sodexo systems and programs, and oversee training of staff;
• continuously evaluates service to ensure client satisfaction;
• develop and maintain strong client and customer relationships;
• create a positive environment; and
• ensure Sodexo Standards are met.

The ideal candidate will have:

• strong financial skills;
• a work history demonstrating strong leadership, hospitality skills and the ability to work collaboratively;
• the ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service; and
• knowledge of compliance to food safety, sanitation, and overall workplace safety standards.

While the budgeted range for the position is posted, Sodexo salary offers are based on a candidate's specific criteria, like experience, skills, education and training.
