Sodexo Senior Living is seeking a General Manager 2, Food to oversee the dining operations a 120 resident skilled nursing and short term rehab, located in Baltimore, Maryland. The ideal candidate will be hands-on as needed, have excellent interpersonal skills, enjoy working with seniors, and managing and developing their team. Best qualified candidate will possess excellent leadership and communication skills.
Will report to the Area General Manager and manage a total staff of approximately 14 hourly employees.
The General Manager will have an active role in managing finances; P&L, cost controls, customer service, and will provide strategic leadership to staff. This position is responsible for ensuring that all planning and organizing activities fully support the Sodexo Brand at all dining experiences in a respectful and appreciative manner.
Prior food service experience in a healthcare environment is desired. A Dietary Manager Certification (CDM) or equivilant is required.

Directs all contract management service operations at a single account/unit. Plans and supervises special functions.
Maintains cash control and payroll records. Hires and trains unit personnel. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations.
Manages through managers and is accountable for the contract. Senior-most person assigned to a one client account
Key Duties- Provides team leadership & training- Controls unit financials- Directs daily food operations for quality & safety standards- Supervises day to day activities
