Sodexo has an excellent opportunity for a General Manager (Food Service Director) at MontCare Wheaton, a 95 bed skilled nursing, rehabilitation and healthcare center in Wheaton, MD. This an exciting opportunity for a hands on manager who is constantly seeking a better way to conduct business. This is a very manageable account with tenured employees who work together as a supportive and motivated team.

This key leadership position is directly responsible for the successful operation of Dining Services. The General Manager ensures client, customer service/satisfaction with efficient cost effective management that both meets and exceeds expectations.

The successful candidate will:

• have oversight of day-to-day dining and culinary operations;

• Interface closely and daily with residents, client executive level leadership and client board members;

• control and ensure company and client financial targets and goals are achieved;

• continuously update industry knowledge on current food trends and ingredients, making sure they lead the way in innovation and originality;

• ensure that the highest possible standards of food handling and preparation are achieved.

• have clinical experience, preferred;
• have a positive approach to tasks with a can-do attitude and impeccable attention to detail.
