Join the MVT family!!! Mesilla Valley Transportation is hiring Maintenance Workers for our in El Paso, TX!

The General Maintenance Worker is responsible for performing various maintenance, repair, and renovation tasks on our properties.

Schedule: 7:00 a.m.

• 5:00 p.m. Monday

• Friday (Saturday 1/2 day)

Responsibilities:

• Perform general maintenance tasks such as painting, plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, HVAC, and drywall repair.

• Maintains the grounds of our buildings, including mowing lawns, trimming hedges, and planting flowers.

• Performs snow and ice removal during winter months.

• Ensures that all safety systems, such as fire alarms and sprinklers, function properly.

• Installs and repair appliances, fixtures, and furniture.

• Responds to maintenance requests from our different offices or property managers in a timely manner.

• Inspects properties regularly and identify any maintenance or repair needs.

• Keeps accurate records of maintenance and repair work completed.

• Maintains a clean and safe work environment.

• Ensures all tools and equipment are in good working condition and properly maintained.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

• High School diploma or equivalent.

• Proven experience as a general maintenance worker or similar role.

• Knowledge of basic carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
