The primary responsibility of the General Maintenance Technician is to address tenant reactive / requested repairs and services and basic preventative maintenance work orders and maintain a safe environment for building occupants. Responsibilities Completes preventive and corrective work orders as assigned.
Familiar with basic HVAC, electrical and plumbing including restroom fixture repair and replacements (Excluding any refrigerant work requiring EPA Universal Certification) Awareness of building automation responses and adjustments Ability to identify equipment defects by visual and/or audio inspection. Advises supervision of identified defects in equipment and potential problems that require additional attention. Carries out varieties of general repair tasks - first responder duties.
Carries out furniture and fixture assembly, adjustments, relocations and repairs. Maintains equipment logs as directed. Maintain mechanical equipment rooms in a safe and clean manner.
Provide excellent customer service. At times, must be available for after normal hours support. Other similar responsibilities… Minimum Requirements To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
