SUMMARY#OF RESPONSIBILITY - Job Summary (general statement of purpose or objective of position) This position is responsible for performing a variety of critical jobs including physical plant equipment operation, troubleshooting and repair of nurse call systems, hospital beds, HVAC components, light and plumbing fixtures, mechanical equipment, plumbing and electrical equipment. Timely completion of scheduled and unscheduled work orders with appropriate documentation.
Shift work, rotation and or varying shift coverage shall be required. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS - Knowledge, skills, abilities, license, registration, certification, education, and experience Education
High School diploma, GED or equivalent preferred. Experience
Four (4) years experience in building/facilities maintenance preferred. Arkansas boiler licenses preferred or will be obtained after hire.
Knowledge, Skills # Abilities- Familiar with safety procedures and trained in safe operation of building maintenance equipment and the handling of related chemicals, such as solvents/degreasers. Ability to troubleshoot and repair multiple building/facilities items including, electrical, plumbing, HVAC equipment, hospital beds and nurse call systems. Ability to provide legible, detailed and accurate information on work orders/preventative maintenance forms.
