The General Maintenance 2nd Class Position creates an experience for our hotel guests by offering them a Hotel experience with welcoming, helpful and exceptional service, while maintaining a clean, comfortable and inviting environment with a positive attitude and pleasant demeanor. A 2nd class general maintenance engineer will be primarily responsible for general maintenance and repairs in guest rooms, meeting spaces, front of house areas, and back of house areas.

A 2nd class general maintenance engineer will also perform repairs on mechanical, electrical, and building systems. Requiring some skills in these areas as well as good communication and multitasking skills.

90-day Probationary Rate: $30.06 per hour

Hourly Rate: $35.37 per hour

• Minimum 3-5 years building/hotel maintenance experience is preferred.

• Good customer service and troubleshooting skills are preferred.

• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and comprehend programs related to preventive maintenance, TV systems, lock systems, HVAC systems, etc.

• Past BOC 1 training is a preferred knowlege.
