Day in the Life
After attending the morning stretching session and planning of the day - you gear up in your provided coveralls, while no day is the same you can expect:
Assist in off-loading trucks and unloading waste
Lifts, carry and move material, tools, supplies
Operate a variety of dirt moving equipment
Clean tools, equipment, materials and work areas
Digs spreads and levels dirt and gravel, using hand tools or machinery
Perform general preventative maintenance on equipment and general housekeeping
Performs other, related duties as assigned.
Hop in the company van for a relaxing ride back to your vehicle at the end of day
What you need to apply
High School Diploma or GED
At least one year of experience working general labor
Willingness to learn, understand, and follow safety regulations associated with Radioactive material and maintain radiation workers qualifications
Must be able to obtain a US Department of Energy Unescorted badge
Valid driver's license
Ability to work a flexible work schedule including overtime and weekends
Able to work well with minimal supervision
Ability to pass pre-employment background checks and drug screening
Ability to obtain a US Department of Energy Unescorted badge
