Overview

Our General Labor staff is critical in working as our plant groundman while cleaning, shoveling, hosing down walkways, catwalks etc.. We're seeking reliable team members looking to get their foot in the door in a growing company. This position is responsible for labor intensive activities that require physical strength, training and

Roles & Responsibilities

• Maintains work area in orderly and hazard-free condition in construction area according to instructions by foreman or superintendent

• Shovel and rake material and clean equipment

• Follows all safety procedures, (OSHA, company, and plant)

• Performs a variation of tasks in a mining/construction environment

• General housekeeping in the pit, plant, office, and quarry facilities

• Assist mechanics and skilled personnel in procuring and moving parts, material, and equipment

• Assist with cleaning parts, material, and equipment

• Replace or assist other workers as needed or directed, which will include operating mobile and plant equipment

• Take an active role in prioritizing safety throughout the operation for yourself

Skills & Experience

• Possess simple oral skills and be safety oriented

• Possess ability to use various handheld tools

• Willingness to work outside daily/year round

• Willingness to work weekends as needed

• Willingness to grow and train to be an equipment operator

• Able to lift 50 pounds
