ITT Gould Pumps seeks candidates for 3rd shift opportunities
Positions will assist operations of the plant in functions such as but not limited to assembly, machine shop, foundry, stock room, and other areas of manufacturing as needed. May perform work on other shifts due to work force adjustments, job bidding, or absence of regular operators. Fill in other miscellaneous duties as production requires.
Depending on where assigned, work may include but is not limited to:
May operate simple machining equipment such as grinder;
May operate lift truck or other material moving equipment;
May clean up castings, clean machines
May perform inventory, cycle counts
May do painting
May perform general clean-up
Skills and Experience
Technology Skills :
Use information systems which may be manual (written on paper) or electronic (screens, keyboards, bar code scanner) required to operate the department's equipment, and understand department communications.
May use computer systems to enroll in benefits and interact with other company data systems.*

Manual Dexterity- The ability to quickly move your hand, your hand together with your arm, or your two hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects.
Ability to hear audible alarms and sounds in designated work environment.
Must wear required safety equipment such as safety shoes, safety glasses.
May involve occasional outdoor exposure to hot, cold, and/or damp weather.
May involve exposure to dusts, metal chips, oils, solvents, fumes, and odors from the industrial environment (appropriate personal protective equipment is provided.)
