SPAR Field Services, Inc. is looking for General Labor Contractors to help with packing up product!

Assist in a store remodel which will include category resets, moving/setting up gondolas, unloading trucks, and cleaning debris/shelving.

Things you should know:*

  • 8-10 man-hours of work per day (per client directive)

  • 8AM start time (per client directive)

  • Ability to carry and lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly

  • Ability to move pallets

  • Ability to climb ladders

  • Ability to load trucks

  • Ability to bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods

  • Reliable transportation

  • Merchandising and/or retail experience is a plus

  • Details are client directives and are subject to change with proper notice.

BGS is looking for a reliable self-directed individual who demonstrates initiative, strong attention to detail, and a strong dedication to student success to join our dynamic and collaborative team environment. The successful candidate will support progress, retention, and engagement of students majoring in General Studies. They will serve as the front line contact for undergraduate students and partner with students to identify their academic interests, provide engagement opportunities and empower students to achieve their academic and career goals. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maximizing undergraduate student retention, will build relationships with students, interpret information, and provide clarification and guidance on academic requirements. They will be responsible for degree program administration, management of student records, and tracking students as they progress through their academic career. They will have authority to approve students' academic degree program(s), including evaluating transfer credit and making exceptions to program requirements under the auspices of their respective faculty. This position requires technical competency, dedication to a team approach, personal accountability, accuracy, timeliness, and excellent communication skills. A broader, multidisciplinary course of study rather than a traditional major/minor, the General Studies degree prepares students to think critically and analytically across a wide range of disciplines or fields of study. Students take the majority of their courses in an Emphasis which requires 27 units. The remaining courses are taken in 3 different Concentrations, with 9 units required in each Concentration.
