The Company is seeking an organized, deadline oriented, self-starter to work in fast paced poultry processing facility. Must possess good attention to detail. Ability to work with knives and handle poultry is required. Must be able to repetitively lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs. Individual will be actively involved in the Company Safety program and the long term and short term goals of the department. Ability to work as part of a team is essential.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Duties and responsibilities:
Work a full shift from a standing position.
May need to work with knives.
Place chicken in bags and in boxes.
Pack out chicken pieces into trays.
Place wrapped packages into nester trays.
Maintain clean and safe working environment.
Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Participate in Company and department safety program.
Ability to carry out repetitive motions of the arms, wrists, and hands.
Comply with Company Policies and Procedures.

Education and/or Experience:
High school education not required but beneficial.
Previous experience using knives a plus, but not required.
No specific language skills required.
Ability to accurately carry out instructions given by supervisor.
Ability to regularly stand, walk, and repetitively use arms, wrists and hands. Ability to work with knives. Ability to lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
This position is under the collective bargaining unit of the UFCW. Required 90-day probation period.
Work area is predominantly noisy, cold and wet. Moderate to extreme levels of noise, safety protection is provided.
