Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the operation of routine production machinery in accordance with prints and specifications provided

• Performs mostly routine activities that produces the required quantity of parts within established specifications and tolerances

• Measures and package finished parts with precision tools, ensuring compliance with function, quality, and cosmetic specifications

• Maintains logs and records of units produced

• Report any errors resulting in rejected or discarded pieces

• Inspects equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and alignment; performs mostly basic and routine adjustments and maintenance

• Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly work area

• Follow safety regulations

• Performs other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

• Physically able to lift up to 30 lbs. repetitively, 50 lbs. occasionally, 100 lbs. with assistance

• Able to work in a labor-intensive position - lifting, standing, bending, twisting and stooping for up to 10 hours per day

• Ability to use hand tools including wrenches, grinders and utility knives

• Ability to read various measurement equipment including tape measures, calipers and micrometers

Knowledge and Skills

• Typically possesses a high school diploma (or equivalent)

• 1-2 years of relevant experience a plus, but not required

• Ability to follow directions and work well in a team environment

• Ability to interpret and translate job specifications for production machineries

• Solid understanding of the production equipment a plus
