We have a unique internship opportunity available in our financial team in Huntsville, AL. Our organization quotes and closes hundreds of millions of dollars in new business every year. Every deal we close requires risk analysis, budgeting, and planning from the bid process all the way through the life of the project to its closure. Every deal is supported by our finance team through pricing and risk analysis on the front end, project budgeting and accounting throughout the life of the project, and financial planning and analysis to ensure correct revenue is forecasted for each quarter.

In this role, you will perform financial risk assessment of proposals and contracts while applying the principles defined in International Financial Reporting Standards software revenue recognition guidelines. You will review quotes and proposals to ensure compliance with corporate standards and authority limits, appropriate pricing, positive cash flows, continuous revenue recognition, favorable terms, and generally protecting the organization's profitability. You will additionally support our project accounting and financial planning and analysis teams, with a wide range of potential responsibilities.

This is a fast-paced and exciting role that offers a view into a variety of finance functions.

The right candidate will be highly organized and able to manage many deadlines and demands simultaneously. Candidates should also possess strong analytical skills, be a forward-thinking problem-solver, and have a high attention to detail and accuracy. You will work closely with many internal teams, especially RevRec, Project Accounting, and FP&A.
