General Educational Assistant, 1.0 Fte, 7.5 Hrs/Day, 182-Day Calendar

Perform a variety of instructional duties assisting a licensed staff member in the implementation of a specific program for individual students or small groups.

GENERAL DUTIES:
Behavior management techniques.
Ability to work harmoniously with others and to communicate effectively with students, parents and teachers.
Ability to follow general oral and written instructions.
Ability to work independently and take initiative in task performance.
Ability to pass a Criminal Background/fingerprint check ($66 fee)
ESTIMATED START DATE: August 23, 2024 - New staff orientation

WAGES:
2024/25 Salary Schedule currently in negotiations - (2023/24 pay scale $14.94 - $16.49/hr)
Placement is dependent on years of experience and per the OSEA Agreement

Possess an associate's (or higher) degree, or
