PRESCHOOL GENERAL EDUCATION TEACHER

JACKSON AVENUE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

2024 -2025 SCHOOL YEAR

Description: One (1) Pre-K General Education Teacher

Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement lessons aligned with grade level standards and Creative Curriculum;

• Utilize innovative approaches and instructional strategies;

• Guide learning and maximize student potential;

• Establish clear objects that reflect the standards and Creative Curriculum;

• Apply the school's mission and philosophy;

• Exhibit structured classroom management;

• Use a variety of instructional methodologies and curriculum resources;

• Differentiate instruction to accommodate all students;

• Exhibit warmth, kindness, and compassion;

• Use Teaching Strategies GOLD to drive instruction;

• Reflective and open to feedback.

Qualifications:

• Appropriate New Jersey Teaching certification required: Preschool to Grade 3;

• Experience and successful practice working with students and communicating with parents;

• Demonstrated the ability to collaborate;

• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing;

• Must be able to establish and maintain effective relationships with colleagues.

Working Conditions: Jackson Avenue Elementary School

Salary: As Per HBOE/HEA Agreement.
