General Counsel
About the Position: The Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS) is currently seeking applications for the position of General Counsel. This role entails overseeing highly responsible administrative and professional legal duties, directing and coordinating the operations of the Department's legal services. Responsibilities include supervising legal activities such as preparing cases for court and administrative proceedings, drafting contracts, legislation, administrative rules, and policies, and providing legal advice to the agency, Board, and ODMHSAS personnel.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
General Counsel I
Note: No substitution will be allowed for the three years as a managing attorney or equivalent and two years of experience as supervising attorney or equivalent
General Counsel II
Note: No substitution will be allowed for the four years as a managing attorney or equivalent and two years as supervising attorney or equivalent
General Counsel III
Note: No substitution will be allowed for the four years as a managing attorney or equivalent and three years as supervising attorney or equivalent.
