General Counsel

We are looking for a dynamic in-house attorney with development experience who can assist the General Counsel with the legal demands of the development lifecycle. In this role you will review, draft and negotiate a wide variety of complex contracts.

In addition this role will be responsible for overseeing our real estate work including LOIs, Options to Lease/Purchase, Easements and Purchase Agreements. You will work with our permitting team to ensure the projects obtain all necessary permits for development, construction and operation. Lastly, you will assist the General Counsel with development-related vendor contracts and NDAs.

Work closely with outside counsel on all complex contracts, real estate matters and permitting items. Identify areas where work can be brought in-house and execute upon doing so Serve as liaison between business units and outside counsel. Advise Development team on business implications of legal decisions Review, negotiate and draft all vendor contracts and NDAs Review, draft and negotiate a wide variety of complex contracts Oversee real estate work including LOIs, Options to Lease/Purchase, Easements and Purchase Agreements Work with permitting team to ensure projects obtain necessary permits Development-related vendor contracts and NDAs 9-6 - 4x a week in the Miami office Generous PTO 20% bonus
