The Montgomery Public Schools General Counsel serves as a legal advisor and representative for the school district. This senior leadership position requires experience in transactions and litigation and a thorough understanding of education law and regulations to provide timely and accurate legal guidance to various

stakeholders. This includes collaboration with the Superintendent, school board, human resources, and other school leaders. It is the responsibility of the Staff Attorney to proactively anticipate and mitigate legal risk to the district.
