Geller Advisors is a privately owned, SEC-registered investment advisor providing integrated strategic wealth management services to affluent individuals, families and entities. Our suite of services includes investment management and financial planning, CFO services and tax advisory and compliance.
Preparing and self-reviewing tax returns for completeness and accuracy. Working product focus will include a mix of individuals, fiduciaries, foundations, partnerships and corporations.
Preparing work papers based on professional standards.
Preparing quarterly and annual tax projections.
Responding to notice for various taxing jurisdictions.
Assisting in the research of complex tax issues and in the development of quality, practical income tax planning services. Working within a small team environment to deliver integrated family office services to clients.
Aiding in the preparation of various time-sensitive client requests and planning opportunities.
Contributing to client satisfaction by providing timely and effective responses to client needs and concerns, thereby enhancing long-term working relationships with clients.
Facilitating communications and provide ample assistance to team members by sharing knowledge to develop professionally and enhance service delivery. Maintaining a personal commitment to continuing education.
Contributing to a flexible, stable, and team-oriented working culture that fosters professional development.
What you'll offer:
1-3 years of related work experience in a tax or family office practice; an emphasis on entities and individual experience.
A bachelor's degree with a concentration in accounting.
Strong foundation in general accounting.
A commitment to learning and developing in an exacting tax environment within a growth business; including a willingness to learn and expand tax skills beyond individual taxes such as entity and not for profit tax filings.
Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Active progress towards CPA certification, membership in the Bar, or Enrolled Agent status.
Proficiency in compliance technology applications including Pro Systems, BNA Income Tax planner and Microsoft products.
