Our Quality Assurance Administrator monitors and evaluates inventory control processes and procedures, and assists in monitoring inventory accuracy at Core Service Depots.

Key Responsibilities (Essential Functions) - List in order of importance

  • Use established procedures to audit receiving, shipping, and warehousing operations to minimize shrink and ensure procedures and processes are being followed

  • Assist in monitoring inventory discrepancies, diagnosing problems, developing recommendations, and requesting inventory adjustments

  • Measure, track, and report audit results to Depot Managers

  • Report concerns, potential issues, opportunities, and operational recommendations to Depot Managers

  • Inform appropriate Corporate and Retail partners of inventory discrepancies and progress towards resolution

Basic Qualifications:

  • 6 months previous experience with inventory control or inventory auditing

  • Able to stand/sit for long periods of time

  • Able to work in a fast pace environment

  • Able to work in a non-climate controlled environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to multitask and have an attention to detail

  • Ability to learn new software programs and work with multiple operating systems

Input of all weekly sand tickets into Microsoft ACCESS 2. Order/maintain supply inventory needed using Statewide Procurement Card 3. Reconcile, code & show proof of purchase on all procurement card purchases by month ending 4. Prepare/obtain paperwork for new hire contractors/drivers: Pre-employment background, DOT physical, DOT forms and contract agreement 5. Create file folders for all new hire contractors/drivers 6. Record, update, maintain vehicle, owner/driver records (Expiration dates/ recertifications) using Excel spreadsheets 7. Requesting background checks, driving records & drug tests 8. Statewide bookkeeping & payroll 9. Keep track of weekly company trailer mileage using EMS application 10. Maintain maintenance records for Statewide trailers 11. Assist in company safety meetings using Safety Presentations (Powerpoint) 12. Maintain maintenance records for Owner/Operator tractors 13. Facilitating rules & regulations related to Statewide Trucking 14. Order/Maintain fuel inventory for Statewide Owner/operators 15. Deducting weekly fuel consumptions of each Statewide Contractor using Excel spreadsheets. 16. Requesting Indemnity, cab card, & medical card inquiries 17. Deduction/Credit of fuel key, spill kit, logo, & cab/liability card Bilingual capabilities in English and Spanish is not required, but is strongly preferred. Must possess good interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers, community contacts and other employees within the company. Working knowledge (or the ability to acquire that knowledge) of product application, plant management system, ticketing system, repair order system, procurement process and surrounding geographic area is required. Strong computer skills to include Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook is needed. Ability to perform basic math as required by general accounting procedures.
