Role Summary:Perform various production tasks such as: preform layup, tape cutting, tape winding, slurry making and CVD / CVI furnace operations.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for operating autoclave, burnout and melt infiltration furnaces

  • Responsible for performing all support functions such as grit blasting, tool cleaning, spraying MI, BN coat parts

  • Follows Thermal team standard work practices and area work instructions

  • Understands, maintains and implements lean principles within manufacturing practices

  • Ability to perform trouble shooting on equipment

  • Verifies and records & maintains accurate production data

  • Adheres and follows EH&S policies and procedures

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Minimum of three years of experience working in a manufacturing environment

Desired Characteristics:

  • Experienced with entering data into a database

  • Ability to work in a teaming environment

  • Good verbal and written communication skills

This role is on a 12 hour rotating shift (5 PM- 5 AM). Essential Responsibilities: * Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. * Responsible for performing task such as CVD furnace operations. * Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. * Responsible for set-up and operation of work space, production equipment and furnaces. * Records data on part travelers or in databases and spreadsheets. * Performs all work in a safe manner. * Responsible for completing training requirements in the department. Qualifications/Requirements: * High school diploma or GED * One year experience working in a manufacturing environment.
