Glendale Dining Services is on the lookout for our next Director of Dining Services to join our senior dining team!

As our next Director of Dining Services and newest member of our talented culinary team, you will oversee all operations and functions at our newest senior dining community!

This is a hands-on role. If selected for this position we will rely on your culinary abilities, your client relation skills and your ability to lead, train, coach and provide your team with the guidance necessary to perform their roles successfully. All-and-all we rely on you in partnership with the leadership team to ensure the smooth and effective operation of the food service program.

  • 5+ year's progressive food service/restaurant experience and passion and talent for food, experience working in a 5 star senior dining environment is preferred

  • Degree from an accredited culinary or hospitality program preferred but not necessary

  • Successful management experience

  • Strong time management skills, the ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships

  • Basic computer skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong business etiquette and client relations skills

  • Strong motivation and the desire to grow and develop within an organization

You must have reliable transportation and be able to clear a background check.

VIEW JOBS 10/16/2019 12:00:00 AM 2020-01-14T00:00 Position Summary The RN - Assistant Director of Nursing assists the Director of Nursing (DON) in planning, organizing, developing, and directing the overall operation of the Nursing Services department to ensure the highest degree of quality patient care in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. Education, Experience, and Licensure Requirements * Must have an ASN or BSN from accredited college or university * Must be currently licensed/registered in applicable State. Must maintain an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing throughout employment. * Two (2) years' geriatric nursing experience preferred, preferably in post-acute care * Must have CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation. CPR certification must remain current during employment.
