GCP Lead Developer

Job Description

Infosys is seeking an GCP Lead Developer with experience working in a Big Data ecosystem. The position will primarily be responsible interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation and Design. You will play an important role in creating the high-level design artifacts. You will also deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Required Qualifications:

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Richardson, TX or be willing to relocate to the area

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in a specialty in lieu of every year of education.

• US citizenship and those authorized to work in the US are encouraged to apply. We are unable to sponsor at this time

• At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.

• Hands on-experience working with technologies like - GCP with data engineering - data flow / air flow, pub sub/ kafta, data proc/Hadoop, Big Query.

• ETL development experience with strong SQL background such as Python/R, Scala, Java, Hive, Spark, Kafka

Preferred Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience working on healthcare / Pharmacy Benefits Management domain

• 2+ experience with any traditional RDBMS (e.g., Teradata, Oracle, DB2).

• Data analysis / Data mapping skills

• CI / CD exposure

The job may entail extensive travel. The job may also entail sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Candidates should be able to effectively communicate by telephone, email, and face to face.
