Job Summary: Main responsibilities include obtaining vital signs & observing/reporting patient response to treatment under supervision of the RN, assists physician during endoscopic procedures, answers call lights & assists RNs/LPNs with patient care as needed, reprocesses scopes and other instruments used during endoscopic procedures, actively participates in infection control, makes pre-procedure & post-procedure phone calls as needed, schedules appointments as needed, and other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications:

Completion of an approved Medical Assistant or Medical Office Assistant program or one year experience directly related to the medical field; Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross; excellent interpersonal and organizational skills required.
