Pratt & Whitney Engineering is establishing a team at the Columbus Forge and Engine Center site in Columbus, GA and is seeking a Design Team Supervisor to support the increasing ramp-up in the production and overhaul of the Geared Turbo Fan Engine family. Design Engineers are responsible for a wide variety of Engineering Production Support and Overhaul activities supporting Cold Engineering outlined below.
As a Design Team Supervisor, your Responsibilities include:
You are responsible for process improvement of manufacturing processes.
You align manufacturing process capability to design/blueprint requirements.
You will be responsible for Class 2 Engineering Changes.
UPPAP execution (PFMEA, process flow and process certification).
You will provide overhaul support including teardown/build requirements, part inspections/documentation, and repair development.
