  • Responsible for review and set-up for all garnishment orders including preparation of orders and correspondence for scanning.

  • Maintain garnishment rules in payroll system including research and testing with Sr. Payroll Systems Support Specialist to determine proper withholding from employee wages according to state rules and garnishment type.

  • Write, review and process reports to automate answer letters and interrogatory responses. Maintain garnishment screens by entering applicable start and stop dates for each order in a timely manner according to information contained within order and applicable deadlines.

  • Answer and resolve payroll and garnishment questions to provide accurate information in a timely and concise manner to courts, agencies, and employees.

  • Interact with various departments within and outside the company to answer questions and resolve issues (external contacts include check collection agencies, courts, lawyers)

  • Process lump sum payments and interact with agencies to determine amount to be withheld for quarterly and annual bonus payments and all other lump sum payments.

  • Work on special projects as assigned including account reconciliations, accruals and journal entries as well as cross train with other team members.

VIEW JOBS 3/17/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-06-15T00:00 Job Responsibilities: * Handle inbound calls and manage workload to ensure clients receive timely responses. * Use available resources to research issues such as the incident tracking system, knowledge base, documentation etc. * Use basic query tools to examine data and pinpoint problems. * Communicate effectively in writing all the steps needed to reproduce errors or problematic behavior in applications. * Log activity to resolve issues, including customer interactions and e-mails in the incident tracking system. * Escalate issues when needed by following internal escalation protocol. * Conduct root cause analysis on incidents and communicate the results. * Assist other SRC CRC Specialists with the resolution of complex issues and serve as a mentor to them. * Establish positive client relationships and ensure client satisfaction. * Support the QA process for new and ongoing product development by participating in testing activities to ensure product quality. This includes the development of test plans, test cases and data sets to model scenarios for testing and the thorough testing of software patches and releases prior to general release. * Create, review and edit software documentation. * Attend internal training sessions. * Conduct and/or assist with client training sessions as needed. * Assist customers with installation and maintenance of software. * Participate in data conversion activities for new and existing clients * Participate in the creation of customer RFP response materials. * Comply with any and all other requests/special projects from Edupoint management. * Adhere to established departmental procedures at all times. * Other duties as assigned. Job Requirements: * Experience working with web-based applications (IIS). * Experience in a K-12 education environment is preferred. * Experience in a K-12 state reporting is preferred.
