Piscataqua Landscaping is hiring a Gardening and Color Crew Leader, to work directly on job sites while providing direction and instructions to crew members. Your green thumb is needed to bring our clients visions of beautiful gardens and greenery to life!

Requirements

• Proper plant identification annuals, perennials and shrubs

• Operate all maintenance equipment

• Track and record all labor and equipment hours and material on a daily basis

• Conduct daily equipment checks and maintenance

• Communicate with manager and/or estimators on a daily basis

• Scout and report the observation of pests and diseases in all areas of maintenance

• Involvement with snow removal during winter hours in whatever capacity required

• Train crew members in proper procedures to execute their jobs and duties, when needed

• Resource to clients for any questions regarding work being performed or future work

• Must be trained in 3/4 ton pickups

• Coach, motivate and lead crews improving morale and productivity

• Responsible for the actions and work done by their crews

Color Team Responsibilities

• Maintaining updated photo database of plant beds and containers

• Map location of plantings

• Square Foot of locations and pot sizes

• Future design templates (premium and standard)

• Updated catalog pricing

• Entering plants into software opportunities

Additional Duties

• Represent the brand and culture of Piscataqua by leading by example

• Ensure top notch appearance of all floral and property maintenance through the use of approved products and procedures being done on a consistent and scheduled basis.

• Maintain all job sites in a neat and organzied manner.

• Constantly observe the overall condition of the properties and report and concerns to the Manager

• Ensure that all equipment in vehicle is secured properly during transport

• Additional duties as assigned
