Job Description

The major responsibilities for this position include: · Garden Sales Associates must provide exceptional customer service that our customers have come to expect. · Maintain awareness of all promotions and advertisements · Execute the daily operational, day-to-day goals and priorities assigned by a manager · Aid customers in locating merchandising in the indoor and outdoor garden section · Assisting with plant deliveries, helping customers loading plant related materials and watering and maintaining plants The minimum requirements for this position include: · Possess a willingness to learn product knowledge of plants and garden related products · Experience in a retail environment and garden center preferred but not required · Excellent customer service skills · Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in all situations · Strong problem-solving and organizational skills · Ability to handle multiple projects and task with a high attention to detail · Willingness to learn our retail computer systems · Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays to meet the needs of the business *Job responsibilities may change based on the needs of the business
