The Garden Bar Prep/Utility is responsible for preparing food items according to Ruby Tuesday recipes and procedures and preparing product for service for the Garden Bar. GB Prep/Utility communicates with and supports the Garden Bar Specialist to ensure the Garden Bar is always 100% stocked. GB Prep/Utility completes specific cleaning duties daily ensuring restaurant environment is clean and inviting to guests.


  • Maintain a pleasant and friendly attitude, while contributing to a teamwork-based work environment.

  • Take pride in his/her appearance while adhering to the Ruby Tuesday Dress & Appearance Policy.

  • Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.

  • Ensure the highest quality preparation and presentation of food items.

  • Measure and assemble ingredients and cook items according to Ruby Tuesday recipes.

  • Wash and clean fruit and vegetables for peeling, dicing, shredding, or slicing using kitchen hand-utensils and electric equipment.

  • Prepare food in a way to avoid waste and spoilage, ensure high quality, and to maintain food safety standards; daily/weekly food inventories correspond with food sales.

  • Station maintenance including, but not limited to, the walk-in refrigerator, prep, and dry storage areas.

  • Responsible for the set-up, cleanliness, and organization of the work area before, during, and after every shift.

  • Complete specific restaurant cleaning responsibilities daily in the front of house and kitchen.

  • Sweep up trash around exterior of restaurant and deck scrub walk ways and back dock area. Dispose of trash and debris according to Ruby Tuesday procedures.

  • Rinse, wash, sort, and stack glassware, tableware, and cooking utensils/vessels by using both mechanical and manual cleaning methods; return dishes and cooking utensils/vessels to the line or the proper storage location.

  • Clean, roll, and unroll kitchen mats.

  • Maintain clean, stocked, and sanitary restrooms.

  • Provide support to other kitchen functions as time and ability allow.

  • Position requires slip-resistant shoes.


High School Diploma or High School equivalency preferred.


This position requires regular attendance; requires the ability to stand or walk for hours at a time; frequently required to hear, speak, walk, crawl, climb, stand, reach, bend, balance, kneel, stoop, lift and carry items up to 50 lbs; requires ability to tolerate significant changes in temperature, and frequent immersion of hands in water and cleaning or sanitizing solutions. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities The Resident Services Manager – Independent Plus is primarily responsible for Agency clinical oversight/patient services, as well as regulatory/quality enhancement compliance. In this role, the Resident Services Manager – Independent Plus manages a team of Resident Service Assistants – Independent Plus and a Staffing Coordination Specialist – Independent Plus. The Resident Services Manager – Independent Plus is also responsible for maintaining high standards by continuously conducting audits of systems and client charts. This individual supports recruiting Agency employees to create and maintain a high functioning, competent team, ensuring a quality-oriented workforce in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations. Furthermore, this individual oversees scheduling to optimize resources while avoiding overtime expenditures. This individual is also responsible for sales, recruiting and staffing. Finally, this individual supports the Executive Director in operations of the Independent Plus Program. * Manage and supervise Resident Service Assistants – Independent Plus and the Staffing Coordination Specialist – Independent Plus by scheduling and delegating assignments, providing direction, completing performance reviews (including input on pay adjustments), hiring and providing discipline, as well as providing support, direction, feedback and training for staff. * Support the development and implementation of all strategies and tactics for the Agency consistent with assigned objectives. Regularly communicate Agency Clinical/ Regulatory performance to the Executive Director. * Develop and implement successful strategies regarding client services and Regulatory compliance. * Provide a major focus on leading Agency recruiting and retention efforts by developing successful strategies in meeting Agency staffing goals, including, but not limited to, professional networking, working alongside the Recruiter to develop strong relationships with local school placement offices, and publicizing the employee referral bonus program. Build and retain a high performing team that has high morale and meets objectives. * Participate in outside networking events in the surrounding community to foster excellent working relationships and establish networks and resources for client and employee referrals. * Participate in job fairs, interviewing, and hiring of staff in order to ensure a quality-oriented, fully functioning workforce. * Oversee the scheduling system and procedures, ensuring the effectiveness of the process. * Coordinate a quick turnaround for assessments for new business with urgency and responsiveness. Conduct assessments at any time if all nursing options have been exhausted. * Support the Executive Director in labor, client case mix, expenses and quality of services, and review and redirect activity, if necessary. * Demonstrate dedication to creating a safe working environment for employees. * Comply with all aspects of operations in accordance with Atria policies and federal, state and local regulations. * Support the Executive Director in overseeing the implementation of an adequate and effective budgeting and accounting system at the local level. * Act as a liaison and relationship builder between various parties including, but not limited to, field operations, the Support Center, Governing Body, the Agency representative appointed by the Governing Body, and staff. * Participate with the Executive Director regarding planning or changes in policy, training, systems and adjustment preclusions. * Complete performance management expectations as guided by the Company. * May perform other duties as needed and/or assigned. Qualifications * Licensed RN/LPN/LVN. * Basic First Aid and CPR certification if required by state. * Must successfully complete the Atria Medication management training, and all Atria specified training programs. * Must complete all state required training to maintain licensure or certification. * Prior management training or experience preferred. * Strong communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills. * Must be able to perform simple calculations (add, subtract, multiple and divide whole numbers, decimals and common fractions). * Able to work flexible work hours due to demands of position. * Position requires driving responsibilities (may use Company provided vehicle and/or personal vehicle). * Must possess valid driver's license. * Must satisfactorily meet and be in compliance with Atria's Motor Vehicle Policy standards.
