As a Warehouse Coach, you will be responsible for leading a team to complete general warehousing tasks including pulling orders, stocking products in the warehouse, delivering orders to games locations within Hersheypark, and completing organizational tasks.

Job Duties (Duties marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this job):

  • Lead team members to complete general warehouse tasks such as pulling orders, organizing stock throughout the warehouse, coordinating delivery and pickup of product from games locations, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment

  • Train team members to ensure they comply with departmental and company policies and provide ongoing training as the season progresses

  • Maintain compliance with Child Labor Laws and ensure that employees are preventing violations by creating break schedules that follow Child Labor Law policies and standards

  • Complete walkthroughs of areas of responsibility to identify safety and maintenance-related issues and address these concerns with full-time staff to ensure they are remedied

  • Provide feedback to team members and hold them to a high standard to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner. Recognize and reward team member behavior that goes above what is standard and coach team members who are not meeting expectations

  • Read order lists and pull orders to ensure each order is fulfilled with efficiency and accuracy

  • Deliver product to locations within Hersheypark using a company vehicle

  • Follow proper organizational guidelines to neatly shelve and maintain layout of products within the warehouse. Lead and direct team members in general warehouse tasks including sweeping, maintaining safe work areas, and disposing of packaging materials

  • Manage inventory integrity by completing daily stocking tasks including checking received orders, monitoring store orders and inventory transfers, and other inventory management tasks as needed

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older on the date of applying

  • Must have a valid driver's license and be able to operate company vehicles

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • One year of leadership/supervisory experience preferred

  • While guest interaction is minimal, must be friendly, upbeat, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and be self-motivated to perform all aspects of the job at all times

  • Proven time management, problem-solving, task management, and organizational skills required

  • Must be able to perform basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)

  • Must display a positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and professional image in compliance with Hershey Entertainment & Resorts guidelines

Job Demands:

  • Must be able to work a minimum of 32 hours per week, Memorial Day through Labor Day, with shifts varying between 6AM - 3PM.

  • Must be able to work flexible hours including days, weekends, and holidays.

  • Must be able to work in a combination of indoor and outdoor weather conditions. Employees are subject to a variety of weather conditions, including but not limited to extreme heat, sun exposure, cold, and inclement weather.

  • Physical requirements include the ability to stand (for up to five hours at a time), walk, bend at the waist and knees and have repeated manual dexterity, and the ability to push, pull, and reach above shoulder level and lift up to fifty (50) pounds without assistance
